We are seeking an experienced and versatile IT Manager/Director to oversee all information technology operations for our growing vacation rental/hospitality company. You will be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, cloud services, SaaS applications, and providing technical support to our staff across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure & Cloud Services Management
- Manage and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and cost-optimization
- Administer and optimize Google Workspace for the organization, including user management, security, and collaboration tools
- Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of various SaaS applications, such as HubSpot, Okta, Salesforce, Zapier, and industry-specific tools like Hospitable, Track, Streamline, Autohost, and RemoteLock
Technical Support & User Management
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users across Windows and Mac devices
- Manage email migrations, cloud storage, and other user-facing IT services
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new technologies and applications
IT Operations & Financial Management
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for IT services, software licenses, and hardware purchases
- Implement and maintain IT security measures, including data backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity protocols
- Collaborate with department heads to understand business needs and align IT strategies accordingly
IT Consultation & Collaboration
- Team with business units and subsidiaries to develop technical solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, technical support and QA on best practices in support of software development and deployment activities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT management role, preferably in a multi-location or distributed environment
- Proven expertise in managing AWS cloud services, Google Workspace, and various SaaS applications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
- Experience in the vacation rentals or hospitality industry is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
