Overview:
The Project Coordinator will build customer engagement and manage regular communication with customers, starting from the initial inquiry through to project completion. They will work closely with Sales to scope and quote projects according to customer specification, ensuring profitability. They are responsible for the proper execution of projects by interacting with the Customer Services Department, Technical Services Group and Operations, listening to customer requests and ensuring those requests are executed. The Project Coordinator will also work with the Customer Service Department and the Technical Services Group to ensure all activities are invoiced for in a timely and accurate manner.
This is a non exempt role paying $26.44-31.00/hr based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Define customer requests

Scope out prospective projects in line with regional legislation

Prepare quotations

Support Project Manager in answering services related tenders

Prepare project documentation to ensure correct initiation, execution and completion of projects in line with customer expectation

Ensure correct project inception framework

Provide technical information to all relevant stakeholders

Ensure key project milestones are communicated to the customer

Change management in line with project deliverables

Monitor performance of allocated work and lead times in line with service level agreements

Coordinate with CSD to ensure correct and timely invoicing of projects

Be proactive in engagement of the Quality Management System

Participate in customer meetings and seminars

Qualifications:
Degree / Certifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
OR a relevant combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of Life Sciences industry appreciated. Preference given to relevant work experience.
Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals
Effective root cause analysis skill
Required to be onsite 3x per week or as business demands.
Ability to understand and comply with confidentiality and privacy rules and protect company property and confidential information.
Some travel required
Must be willing and able to enter animal barriers
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Preferences
1+ yrs of experience in project coordination or management
Degree / Certifications Preferred ALAT or relative certification
Strong knowledge of Life Sciences industry
Experience with project management software tools desirable
This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
