Responsibilities

Configure and manage network automation tools to streamline operations and enhance integration efficiency.

Utilize and become proficient with network orchestration, automation, and management tools such as Ansible, Nautobot, Netscout, Cisco Catalyst Center, NSO, Arista Cloud Vision, and CI/CD pipelines.

Serve as the escalation point for complex network automation issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolution.

Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, capacity, and scalability of network automation solutions.

Lead the design and operation of Enterprise network automation solutions, ensuring they meet high standards of reliability and performance.

Maintain detailed network documentation, including network diagrams and configurations, to ensure clarity and consistency.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and professional development.

Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and select networking equipment and technologies that align with organizational objectives.

Configure and manage automation tools like Cisco DNAC/ISE and Arista Cloud Vision to enhance network operations.

Qualifications

Hold an active DoD SECRET clearance.

8 years of hands-on experience as a network engineer, with a passion and focus on network automation.

Possess expert-level knowledge of routing and switching protocols, making you a go-to expert in the field.

Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of network security principles and practices, ensuring robust and secure solutions.

Showcase proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting enterprise-grade networking equipment using cutting-edge programming languages and automation tools like Python, APIs, Ansible, Batfish, Netbox, NETCONF, RESTCONF, and YAML.

Excel in problem-solving, thriving in high-pressure situations to deliver effective and innovative solutions.

Hold a DoD 8570.01-M, IAT level III certification, underscoring your expertise and commitment to the field.
