Job Overview:
Switchgear Power Systems is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our 2nd shift team. As an Electrical Assembler Lead, you will work collaboratively in a team environment to wire electrical equipment accurately and efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality custom electrical power distribution equipment.
Key Job Duties:
- Install electrical components per assembly drawings.
- Wire electrical control panels per assembly drawings.
- Verify components with bills of material to ensure accuracy.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
- Ability to train employees on processes / procedures.
- Participate in personnel staffing and review activities.
- Participate in schedule / status meetings and update based on priorities and deadlines.
- Maximize / manage material utilization and material needs.
- Ability to use calipers, power tools, and hand tools effectively.
- Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications.
- Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
- Follow company policy and standards.
- Keep work centers clean and orderly.
Desired Qualities and Attributes
- Experience working and functioning in a supervisory role.
- Self-motivated and can work without much supervision.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal).
- Strong blue-print reading skills with attention to detail.
- Is safety minded and puts safety first while performing job duties and functions.
- Experience with Solid Works 3D.

- Work schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm – 2:30 am
- Base rate + $3.00/hour shift differential
