Job Summary
Provides comprehensive alcohol and drug services, including assessments and individual, group and family counseling.
Responsibilities and Duties
EXAMPLES OF PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
Complete comprehensive, ASAM-based drug and alcohol assessments and develop
appropriate services and supports plan.
- Facilitate effective group experiences.
- Maintain family-centered services and supports; as appropriate and requested by individual include family members in service planning
- Provide meaningful individual sessions with those enrolled in services
- Cooperate with other staff to provide quality services for individuals
- Cover clinical responsibilities for colleagues as required
- Professionally communicate with referral sources and staff of partner agencies
- Represent the agency positively and in a professional manner
- Assist in training new staff and provide in-service training as requested
- Participate in staff meetings and training opportunities
- Maintain current credential and seek opportunities to advance skills
- Effectively utilize evidence-based practices in individual and group Counseling settings
- Maintain knowledge of community resources.
- Maintain accurate records and complete all forms, assessments and file management paperwork as directed
- Observe and comply with all OAR rules
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred and CADC I required. Must demonstrate competence in prevention, intervention and treatment of addictions and mental health issues and have experience with gender-specific and evidence-based services and supports and best practices; evaluation; professional ethics; cultural considerations; and all phases of the delivery of services. Must be familiar with state and local resources.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.60 - $28.18 per hour
