Job Description:
Baptist Health is looking for a Clinical Quality Education Specialist to join our Home Health team in New Albany, IN
The quality assurance educator evaluates homecare practices within an Agency to help maximize efficiency and optimize patient care. Their duties include working with the Agency Director, Managers and the Quality education team to implement and monitor Quality outcomes, PI, orientation of new staff, training staff on new policy, process, procedures, and ensuring CMS and state requirements are consistently followed.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions :
- Provides clinical education to the Agency staff in collaboration with the Quality/Education Team
- Provides education to the staff on policies and procedure guidelines
- Provides education to the staff on regulatory changes
- Collaborate with the Director and Managers on the Quality/Performance improvement team
- Assist the Managers in ongoing management of the Quality/PI program to attain the Agency goals
- Provide the Director with a Quarterly summary of the progress to goal of the Quality program and any other active outside audit i.e. Joint Commission.
- Reviews and tracks all ADR, OIG or outside record request related to compliance prior to submission
- In collaboration with the Agency Director and Clinical Manager manages new employee onboarding
- Monitors clinical records for compliance with regulatory and documentation standards
- Attends agency meeting as required and completes all mandatory education according to policy
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Professional license RN, PT, OT ,ST
- OASIS Certification and Coding preferred
- Two or more years’ experience in homecare or hospice required
