Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys and data collection using various surveying instruments and equipment.
- Perform topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
- Set up and operate surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and robotic total stations.
- Collect and analyze survey data to create accurate maps, drawings, and reports.
- Prepare and maintain survey records, including field notes, sketches, and digital files.
- Assist in the preparation of legal descriptions and land surveying documents.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on job sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Party Chief or similar role in the surveying industry.
- Proficient in data collection techniques and surveying software such as Carlson, MicroStation, GIS, and Civil 3D.
- Strong mathematical skills including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Knowledge of robotic total stations and GPS technology.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.

Pay: $25.91 - $27.70 per hour
