Devereux/TCV is Hiring Immediately for a full-time Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Day Program Team Lead - $15/hour up to $17/hour

Position Type: Full-time, 37.5 hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
What to Expect: TCV is currently seeking a dedicated and responsible person to fill our full-time Day Program Team Lead for our Intellectual Disabilities Division (IDD) in the greater Pittsburgh area.
The Day Program Team Lead plays a critical role in fulfilling the mission of TCV by providing an array of supports and trainings to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that will enable them to increase their level of independence and improve their quality of life; and by assisting the Day Program Supervisor with all facets of the program operation. We are looking for people who believe in a strengths-based approach and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities. All required trainings and education will be provided by TCV. The Day Program Team Lead position is designed to:
- Assist the supervisor in the hiring process, completing orientation and with confirming that new employee orientation packets are completed.
- Assist in training new employees and in ensuring colleagues complete 24 hours of training for each fiscal year, including all required training, substantiating the completion of bi-annual physicals and TB testing for colleagues.
- Participate in 24 hours of training each fiscal year, including all required trainings.
- Assist with the completion of colleague evaluations
- Ensure the health and safety of the program participants.
- Transport individuals in company-owned vehicles or accompany individuals when using public transportation.
- Administer medications accurately.
- Complete daily and monthly documentation and assist in ensuring that employee documentation is thorough and accurate.
- Assist in the completion and oversight of fire drills, site inspections, and fire safety and equipment.
- Operate as the program supervisor in his/her absence.
- Insure adherence to ODP, County, Federal, and HIPAA regulations.
- Complete weekly medication counts.

*Prospective employees hired for the Day Program Team Lead position will receive a $2,500 sign on bonus. The employee will receive the first third of the bonus after the successful completion of three (3) months of employment, the second third of the payment will be awarded after the successful completion of six (6) months of employment, and the final third will be awarded after achieving a "satisfactory" rating or higher on the annual performance evaluation.

- A High School diploma or GED AND two (2) years of related experience; OR an associate's degree in human services AND one (1) year of related experience; OR a bachelor’s degree in human services and six (6) months of related experience. (Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities required.)
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license & MVR history with three (3) years of driving experience required.
- PA state criminal history, FBI and child abuse record required.
- Pre-employment drug screening, physical and one-step TB required.
