Shinda is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator, under the supervisor of the Property Manager, who is responsibble for coordinating tenant maintenance requests while providing comprehensive, pro-active service to tenants and owners.
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate tenant maintenance requests and unit turnover maintenance
- Use independent judgment to handle maintenance request, and respond as appropriate.
- Utilize decision-making ability to problem solve and manage workflow efficiently.
- Prepare letters and other forms of written communications to tenants and owners.
- Manage recurring maintenance and billing.
- Process vendor status reports and billing associated with maintenance requests.
- Perform administrative duties in support of the Internal Operations Director.
- Create positive relationships with owners, tenants, vendors and co-workers.
- Receive the public and answer questions, in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from residents, clients and others and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department
- Collect and process rent (if applicable)
- Compose, type and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of administrative experience
- Computer Skills
SALARY RANGE: 40-45K ANNUAL (35 HOUR WORK WEEK)
