Duties for this position include:
- Schedule field staff to provide service for clients
- Interact with families, clients and caregivers about services (either in person or on the phone).
- Provide clients and caregivers with accurate schedules.
- Assist with the recruitment and interview process.
- Create new employee personnel files and filing documents into appropriate employee files.
- Update database records and process paperwork for new hires, terminations and other status
- Follow-up with clients and caregivers regarding coverage, call-offs, and cancellation of staff.
- Maintain open and current communication with management team of changes in status of clients and caregivers.
- Ensure effective coordination and communication of activities.
- Actively participate in regular staff meetings to provide guidance on any changes with staffing requirements/needs.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of job responsibilities and compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.
- Completion of ALL New Jersey DDD/CDS required trainings or willing to complete trainings.
Job Requirements
- PREVIOUS HOME CARE STAFFING EXPERIENCE is a HUGE Plus
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, social service or related field
- Ability to problem solve challenging and complex situations that involve family members/clients, care providers and referral sources.
- Prior experience a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize own work load and quickly adjust priorities as required.
- Excellent customer service skills including the ability to effectively with a variety of personality types.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle-driving to client homes and other locations are required.
