Responsibilities of this role include:
Initial Training Phase:
1. Comprehensive Business Learning:
- Actively participate in all aspects of the business to gain a thorough understanding of operations, including sales, event setup, and customer service.
- Shadow experienced team members to learn best practices and operational procedures.
2. Sales Training:
- Assist the sales team in daily tasks such as client interactions, lead generation, and closing sales.
- Learn to understand customer needs, provide suitable product/service recommendations, and develop sales techniques.
3. Event Setup and Coordination:
- Participate in the planning and execution of company events, including setup and teardown processes.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth event operations and learn event management skills.
4. Training and Development:
- Attend scheduled training sessions on company products, services, systems, and processes.
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities to build a strong foundation of business knowledge.
5. Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Develop communication and problem-solving skills through direct customer interaction.
Transition to Leadership Phase:
6. Team Leadership:
- Begin taking on leadership responsibilities by overseeing small teams or specific projects.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
7. Project Management:
- Manage and coordinate business projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop project planning, execution, and evaluation skills.
8. Strategic Planning:
- Participate in strategic planning meetings to contribute ideas and develop long-term business strategies.
- Understand and align with company goals and objectives.
9. Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily business operations to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Identify and address operational challenges and opportunities for improvement.
10. Career Development:
- Set personal and professional goals with a view toward moving into a management role within a year.
- Continuously seek feedback and opportunities for growth to prepare for future leadership positions.
