The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the finance industry, proficient analytical skills and a natural instinct to negotiate. Our company is looking to hire a M&A Manager who can effectively coordinate transactions and use their expertise to settle disputes. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients across the AE industry.
Job Description
- Lead buy-side engagements and acquisition searches, which will include target universe identification, outreach to candidate CEOs, relationship building between client and M&A candidates, deal pricing and deal structuring advice, and integration planning.
- Work with clients to establish M&A Target Criteria in support of strategic goals.
- Must have superior communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and have the desire and ability to lead multiple projects and work directly with clients.
- Familiarity with professional services firms ideal but not required.
- Business degree preferred.
- A designation of CM&AA, CVA, ASA, or CFA a plus.
- Securities licenses (Series 7, 66, 63, 65) are a plus
- At least three-to-five years of experience preferred in one or more of Investment Banking, Private Equity Investments, Management Consulting, Financial Advisory, or Corporate Development
- Reports directly to head of Buy-Side business.
- Will work Hybrid in Chicago, IL
