We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist who is interested in a fresh start, innovative types of therapy, and an opportunity to join a new organization.
You will have the opportunity to be highly involved in the community and to focus on therapies outside of the traditional face-to-face sessions.
ABH is also offering an annual bonus after 12 consecutive months of service.
Job Responsibilities Include:
· Establishing therapeutic rapport for individuals with mental health or emotional issues.
· Complete individual, group, and family sessions.
· Must have the ability to work with a wide variety of clients and mental health disorders.
· Complete intake documentation, complete clinical assessments, formulate treatment plans, provide clinical recommendations in collaboration, and complete discharge and termination summaries.
· Create strong alliances with the client’s family and other support systems (if not contraindicated).
· Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to ensure continuity of care.
· Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with team members to create an environment in which the entire team can thrive.
· Focus on providing clients opportunities for learning, engaging, and practicing their acquired skills by delivering evidence-based curriculum and programming.
· Support philosophy and practice of service delivery that is trauma-informed.
· Communicate and collaborate with additional treatment providers to provide smooth client transition plans and keep mindful of levels of care.
· Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
· Adhere to professional ethics and licensing guidelines of the profession.
Qualification Must-Haves:
- Master’s Degree in the human services field
- Licensed in the State of Idaho (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, PhD Psychologist, or PsyD)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Familiarity with Optum Idaho/Medicaid-funded programs is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Flexible and shows a willingness to multitask
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
