Position Overview: As the Accounts Payable Lead at Lifted Trucks, LLC, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable function. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, and supporting the financial health of our growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Accounts Payable Team: Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Invoice Processing: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Payment Processing: Coordinate payment runs and review payment schedules to ensure vendors are paid promptly and accurately.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with vendors and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- Expense Management: Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company expense policies.
- Month-End Closing: Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounts payable function.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports as needed for management and audit purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of progressive experience in accounts payable
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
