Operations Assistant - Must be available/flexible (24/7) if needed.
The right candidate must be reliable, flexible, energetic, responsible, speaks and understands English, has good/great communication skills, must be a team player, willing to learn, has reliable transportation and wants to work.
This is a guaranteed 40 Hours a week, full-time position which is comprised of Management Oversight work and Guard Post Work. Person will also be required to perform assigned dates/time after hours "on-call" duties (manning the 24/7 hotline; securing guards to replace any call outs; fixing guard schedule as needed; dealing with general and emergency guard issues). You are compensated while performing "On-Call" work as well. We offer a FLEXIBLE schedule and will work with person's personal needs as long as they do the job.
Requirement Must Haves:
- Current CT Guard Card
- Current Driver's License
- Current TWIC card or willing to apply for one within 7 days from hire date. (Website: tsa.gov)
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Minimum of GED or High School Diploma along with previous experience of a minimum of 1 year in the field.
- Microsoft Office experience
Operations Assistant responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Scheduling
- Assist with On/Off Boarding employees
- Assisting with after-hours calls/emergencies
Scheduled "On-Call" person - - will be compensated while performing on-call work
Expected: 40 Hours a week - - 20 hours in office / 20 hours in field doing Guard Work
- Other items as needed
Lead Security Officer responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Training new hires
- Site inspections/visits
- Covering posts/shifts as needed
- Making sure posts/sites have what they need to do the job
- APPLICANT MUST COMPLETE ONBOARDING AND PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING WITHIN 72 HOURS OF HIRE DATE.
- REQUIRED PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING - PAID AFTER 1ST FULL WEEK OF WORK
- REQUIRED MONTHLY TRAINING - PAID
- HOLIDAYS PAID AT TIME-AND-A-HALF
