iWest Companies is looking for a Warehouse Leader to be accountable for the day-to-day operations of our Inventory and Warehousing functions. This will include incoming and outgoing inventory, purchasing, warehouse processes, distribution, and the execution and continued development of standard operational procedures. Our inventory is furniture, large, heavy fixtures, and some new packages. Our warehouse services all our product lines and accounts, including household goods, high-end furniture, office furniture, and hospitality furniture and fixtures.
This position will also lead the warehouse team by coordinating, coaching, and providing performance reviews. A successful candidate will have the ability to manage inventory, achieve financial objectives by managing key metrics, identify opportunities, and develop action plans for improvement. Responsibilities will also include ensuring prompt, pleasant, and complete service is provided to internal and external partners in alignment with the iWest Companies Core Values.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily inventory and warehousing operations and procedures.
- Control inventory levels by coordinating/conducting weekly physical random counts and working closely with the Operations Manager to resolve inventory overages and shortages.
- Lead the warehouse team to receive, locate, pull, and stage incoming and outgoing products and prepare and load items as needed.
- Ensure all work and assignments are completed using best practices for safety.
- Maintain the warehouse system to reflect accurate inventory levels and monitor workflow to ensure proper inventories are pulled and verified before leaving the facility.
- Achieve financial objectives by participating in budget process, managing key metrics, identifying opportunities, and developing action plans for improvement.
- Communicate with internal and external partners as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered products and equipment.
- Participate in the hiring process for the warehouse team.
- Responsible for the training, coaching, and providing feedback with performance management of the warehouse team.
- Model and lead the Core Values to provide a safe, positive, and effective working environment.
- Own and foster effective communication at all levels of the organization through interactions with the warehouse team.
- Assume the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Operations Leader and Final Mile Market Leader when needed or requested.
- All other duties and tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and General Manager.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in inventory and warehouse operations – required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to connect with a wide range of people and personalities.
- Tact and courtesy in dealing with internal and external partners.
- Excellent teamwork, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift Certification/Ability to pass onsite Forklift Certification.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to and learn recent technology equipment and platforms.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must be physically able to lift, lower, push, and pull objects up to 75 lb. unassisted and lift up to 300lbs in a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods of time.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Screen and Background Check.
Schedule/Compensation:
- Schedule: Full Time - Monday – Friday - Occasional Saturdays may be required.
- Compensation: Starting at $80,000/Annual Salary - Based on Experience
