Seeking Military Veterans for Hospice Volunteering
Military Veterans share an important camaraderie that can make a profound difference at end of life. You have the ability to connect on a level that family and friends may not. Our Veteran-to-Veteran volunteer program strives to provide our Veteran hospice patients with the opportunity to receive companionship, understanding, and support from someone who has walked a mile in their shoes. As a Veteran volunteer, you can foster reminiscence and healing, as well as help us to honor their service. Please join our team of dedicated volunteers in bringing meaningful and compassionate care at end of life.
Volunteers may engage in conversation, read to a patient, look at pictures together, share music or videos on their phones, provide a compassionate presence or other activities.
