Airoom Architects, Builders & Remodelers has a unique opportunity for results-oriented individuals with strong project management experience in construction, architecture, or interior design to work with clients designing and finalizing plan and selection details for residential remodeling and custom home projects.
If you are proficient in reading and reviewing construction drawings (blueprints) and have proven experience in working with clients finalizing designs, materials and design embellishments, as well as like to be well compensated for your abilities, then this is the professional organization and team to join. Candidates should be well organized, detailed, like to work within a team approach and feel very comfortable working with multiple clients and projects at a time using a design-build methodology.
Responsibilities:
- 10+ years of project management, architectural, design and/or construction experience required.
- Architecture and/or Project Management/Construction Management degree preferred.
- Proficient experience in reading residential construction drawings and specifications, red lining drawings, and strong residential product knowledge with construction materials including windows & doors, siding and roofing materials, trims and moldings, lighting, floorings materials, cabinetry, and engineered framing materials a plus.
- Face to face experience in problem solving and solution selling with clients. Ability to move prospective clients through review meetings, plan changes and enhancements, architectural product selections and detail finalizations, including windows, doors, trims, sidings, exterior detail selections, roof lines and fenestrations completion of materials and selection schedules.
- Experience in electrical lighting and switching layouts and basic mechanical rough in and trim knowledge and general code requirements for permit.
- Ability to communicate clearly with purchasing staff, vendors, superintendents, and field crews to clarify and/or review and explain site issues.
- Outgoing and motivating personality that prefers being up front client facing versus "back room" production role.
- Sophisticated and worldly design sense for upscale clients.
