Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Panel Builder/Technician to join our team. We offer competitive pay and great benefits for responsible and motivated employees. This position requires experience in assembling, wiring, testing of electronic control panels for various industrial applications. This position also requires experience in running conduit and tray/cable on various types of skids at our client’s fabrication facilities.
Panel Shop Job responsibilities
- Assemble electronic control panels by following electrical drawings and customer specifications.
- Build, wire, and terminate PLCs, HMIs, Flow Computers with proper documentation and testing.
- Terminate (I/O Test Rack) simulated discrete inputs, discrete/relay outputs, analog inputs, and analog outputs to completed control panels.
- Perform point-to-point testing and assist with customer F.A.T.
- Keep shop and warehouse clean and organized.
- Cut grass and weed eat around shop/office.
Remote Job responsibilities
- Install electronic control panels on client’s skids and wire to end devices.
- Install electrical equipment such as: cable tray, conduit, switchboards, MCCs, etc.
- Perform point-to-point testing and assist with customer F.A.T.
- Work will be performed at skid fabricator’s facility. Projects consist of automation, instrumentation, motors, motor controls relating to pumping units, LACT skids, gas metering skids, saltwater transfer pumps, pipeline skids, etc.
Required Skills:
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Clean driving record
- Effective communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- 2 years of SCADA/Automation experience
- Experience with various PLCs, HMIs, flow computers, radios
- Experience with various communications: serial RS-232/422/485, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, radio, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to navigate around in PLC and HMI programming logic
- Familiarity with motors and basic control circuits
- Oil Field Experience
- Knowledge of the NEC Code Book.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Safety-minded and follow safety regulations

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
