The Center Director reports to the Operations Manager, and is responsible for meeting revenue, operations, and marketing goals at the Center through marketing, generating new business, retaining existing business, and managing and developing full-time staff. The Center Director is boss, manager, trainer, marketer, and salesperson.
Manage monthly revenue, expense, operations, and marketing goals. Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with full-time staff to discuss goals and the action plans to meet them. Conduct daily meetings with full-time staff about daily activities. Set short- and long-term goals for each full-time staff member. Provide on-going feedback to improve performance and meet goals. Manage all Center activities and their quality. Manage Center finances, including cash flow, payments, close outs, returned checks, and refunds and expenses related to staff and other expenses delegated by Operations Manager.
Manage, train, and evaluate all other full-time Center staff. Participate in teacher meetings. Follow appropriate personnel procedures and maintain accurate personnel records for all other full-time Center staff. Maintain a high level of staff morale. Minimize staff turnover.
Offer students the best education possible. Adhere to the Huntington Code of Ethics and the Brand Standards Manual. Prepare for each Interim Conference by working with each student to get to know him and his program, and by talking with his teachers. Monitor, program, and reprogram student instructional programs. Maintain Student Permanent Folders and Student Instructional Binders. Review, or manage the review of, each student's instructional program at least once per month.
Develop marketing and advertising plans for general and Exam Prep services based on school schedules and any other relevant factors to meet marketing goals, which include developing positive relationships with school personnel, increasing Huntington's presence in the community, and increasing inquiry volume. Prepare for, conduct, and follow up after, professional contacts, student-focused and event-focused school visits, PTA and parent workshops, and visits to merchants, community groups, and libraries; and maintain appropriate records. Distribute public relations materials, such as Huntington News for Parents, to schools. Speak with students and parents before, during, and after instruction. Discuss student progress with parents during Interim Conferences and informal waiting room meetings.
