HR Trainer and Engagement Coordinator- Home Instead
Home Instead is seeking an experienced and passionate HR Trainer and Engagement professional to join our team. We are a leading provider of high-quality, in-home care services for seniors in the Crystal Lake area, specializing in Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, and quality home care services. Our agency operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to ensure our clients receive the care and support they need.
In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and delivering effective training programs to our caregiving staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to provide exceptional care to our clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving employee engagement and fostering a positive, supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
· Design and facilitate comprehensive training programs for new and existing caregivers, covering topics such as client care, safety protocols, communication skills, and regulatory compliance.
· Identify training needs and opportunities for professional development within the organization.
· Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop relevant and engaging training content.
· Implement strategies to promote employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
· Organize team-building activities, events, and initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
· Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding sessions.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to training and employee development.
· Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and trends in caregiving and senior care.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR training, employee engagement, or a similar role, preferably in the healthcare or senior care industry.
· CNA/CMA a plus.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
· Strong organizational and project management abilities.
· Proficiency in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training delivery methods.
· Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations for senior care and caregiving.
· Compassionate, patient, and able to work effectively with diverse populations.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
