Job Description:
Ross Electric is looking for a Business Development Manager to help us grow. This person will find new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and help us expand our market. If you have a strong background in electrical work and are good at making connections, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Find and follow up on new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial areas.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Understand and interpret blueprints and project proposals.
- Work with the marketing team to create plans for business growth.
- Prepare and present proposals and bids for new projects.
- Attend industry events and network to increase company visibility.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the electrical contracting industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and project requirements.
- Proven track record of meeting sales goals and driving business growth.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and project takeoffs.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of online bid process (recommended)
