We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Controller and play a crucial role in keeping our financial system running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be highly organized and motivated to keep up with a busy workload. In this role, a strong attention to detail will be key as you process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices, prepare, and handle both daily and weekly reports. You’ll also process bank deposits, maintain record storage, and work daily in QuickBooks. Independently, you’ll manage several other accounting and light administrative tasks. This position is full time remote following training.
- Process and verify incoming invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor records.
- Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for payment.
- Prepare and process accounts receivable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
- Assist in the collections process by following up on outstanding balances and resolving payment discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.

What you will bring
· A degree in accounting and a minimum of three years of accounting experience.
- Previous accounting for assisted living facilities is highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365 programs (Excel (intermediate or better), Word, Outlook, and TEAMS).
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks using strong organizational skills, excellent time management, and critical thinking to solve problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-directed and high attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal & customer service skills
