Job Description:
In this position, the IT Project Manager will manage activities and associated tasks, resources, supporting staff, deliverables, implementation, and management of IT projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Report on status of new or existing projects; forecast resource capacity; formulate and define project scope and objectives and maintain and create project roadmaps in accordance with industry best practices.
Lead small-medium sized project meetings and events; create, update and validate project data and report the data to leaders and peers; create and maintain project records; work with less experienced colleagues in the ongoing completion of their work according to best practices and standards.
Identify and recommend corrective action for troubled projects.
Comply with Company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and completes mandatory company compliance training by assigned deadlines.
Other duties as assigned or required.
- This position is hybrid and requires you to work in our local Orlando office a few times a week.
EXPERTISE:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Knowledgeable about the major disciplines and phases of project management.
Fluent in Waterfall/Iterative/Agile Methodology’s and good understanding of the SCRUM process.
Current PMP Certification desired
Program Management Experience Preferred
Strong project management skills
Proficiency in mathematics including the ability to perform budgeting, variance reporting and statistical analyses

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields; or equivalent work experience.
Communication and Interpersonal skills:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
At a minimum, the ability to work from 8a.m. to 5p.m., Monday through Friday.
Consistent attendance is required, which may include attendance at after-hour Company events.
Ability to accept supervision.
Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone, video conferences and in person.
Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company.
Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
