Clothes for Kids is a non-profit located in Lynnwood, WA. We have been providing high-quality school clothing to students at no cost to their families since 1984. Clothes for Kids serves students from Head Start/Early Childhood Education through 12th grade in all Snohomish County school districts and the Northshore School District in King County. We provide a retail-like environment where families shop for a school wardrobe including everything a child needs head to toe. Our operation is successful due to the dedication of a small staff and large volunteer base.

Job Title: Program Coordinator
We are seeking an individual who has a passion for non-profit work and a desire to empower children to be successful in school.
Job Description: Responsible for leading internal operations which includes client interaction, store management, inventory management, and volunteer coordination/training. This is a part time (up to 30 hours/week) hourly position with flexible hours; prefer this individual to be onsite when the shop is open to the public, some flexibility to work remotely.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Ensure clients are welcomed and have an enjoyable shopping experience and address concerns as they arise; respond to requests from school and/or partner agencies, organize private shopping hours for partner agencies or clients requiring extra assistance
- Volunteer Interaction: Recruit, on-board and train new volunteers, act as primary contact for volunteer communications and address concerns, plan volunteer appreciation events, organize and lead work parties; Manage daily volunteer priorities and assignments through coordination with shift leaders
- Inventory Management: Track annual clothing budget and purchase clothing and shoes with designated funds managing to budget, develop and maintain relationships with local retailers, coordinate local clothing drives, oversee inventory management system (including new and used clothing), ensure sufficient quantities of inventory for client shopping, lead annual inventory reconciliation
- Fundraising: Assist as needed in fundraising events
- Administrative responsibilities: Plan annual calendar, order supplies as needed, monthly credit card reconciliation, shop maintenance, prepare monthly shop report.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Prefer 2+ years experience with project/program management
- Previous non-profit and/or customer service experience desired
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills with the ability to be flexible and multitask as needed in a fast-paced environment required
- Self-motivated/independent leader with ability to problem solve and determine when to elevate issues and/or ask for help
- Multi-lingual (Spanish preferred)
- Able to plan, prioritize and promote diversity, equity and inclusion while working to support the community
- Able to impact-fully serve clients by using diverse communications to connect with clients; maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Required to pass background check

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
