Position Overview: Marathon TS is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join one of our federal projects supporting Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your previous Salesforce development experience and expertise. Your in-depth understanding of requirements analysis and elicitation, test and quality assurance plan development, development and maintenance of system and user documentation, and DevSecOps will be used to develop workflow applications used to integrate external data.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Leverage BA expertise to support the development process of new Salesforce application
- Lead the collection, capture, and management of mission user needs, from prioritization, concept development, and user story writing to support
- Leverage Agile and Scrum methodologies and best practices while utilizing Agile program management tracking tools
- Support requirements prioritization and backlog grooming sessions
- Work closely with engineers to ensure successful systems integration
- Ensure all project guidance, work products, and related documents are updated and posted to a common document repository
- Work with the product owner and users to determine the operational objectives of business needs and elicit requirements
- Condense complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria
- Work with IT and mission stakeholders to review, update, and maintain a business process roadmap of the to-be system and evaluate areas of reengineering by outlining potential to-be processes
- Validate application functionality and support quality assurance testing
- Assist in the preparation of client and system user documentation to include user manuals, training guides, and system administration manuals
- Help define, develop, adjust, and implement program management processes to meet government and industry best practices and guidelines
- Identify and assess process and operational inefficiencies, identify gaps, and develop recommendations on business process improvements and support the implementation and monitoring activities associated with these initiatives
- Provide advice and expertise in identifying and evaluating new technologies and associated processes
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelors of Science degree
- 6 years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of Salesforce experience
- Superb written and verbal communication skills which translate well into requirements baselines that both technical experts and business owners can comprehend
- Proven ability to provide detailed, comprehensive, testable and traceable process components in a number of formats including, but not limited to Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Data Requirements, System Software Specifications, Use Cases, etc.
- Prior experience supporting new application development within Salesforce
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, user story creation, scrum, etc.
- Experience with integrating internal data models to external data systems
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Nice to have's:
- Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional
- Experience in Salesforce Service Cloud with a focus on application integration
- Experience with MuleSoft and data pipelines
- Preferred certifications: Certified Scrum Master, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner
- Currently hold a Public Trust clearance with Department of Transportation
