Position Title: Part-Time Youth Session Leader

Work Schedule:
- Part-time position, approximately 8-10 hours per week.
- Sessions occur on Mondays (St. Cloud), Tuesdays (Celebration), Wednesdays (Winter Park), and Thursdays (Lake Nona), each lasting 2 hours.

Position Summary: Rebuild Yourself Inc. is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Event Assistant to support our day-to-day events with teens across Central Florida. This role involves traveling to various locations, assisting with social and life skill sessions, and contributing to the development of engaging curriculum. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with teens.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Assistance:
- Travel to different locations in St. Cloud (Mondays), Celebration (Tuesdays), Winter Park (Wednesdays), and Lake Nona (Thursdays).
- Provide on-site assistance during 2-hour sessions for teens, ensuring smooth execution of activities.
- Set up and clean up event spaces before and after sessions.
Session Facilitation:
- Assist in facilitating social and life skill sessions, engaging teens in interactive and meaningful activities.
- Support the lead facilitator in managing group dynamics and ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.
Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with the team to develop and improve curriculum for social and life skill sessions.
- Contribute creative ideas and feedback to enhance program content and delivery.
Interpersonal Engagement:
- Build rapport with teens, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Address any concerns or questions from participants with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Strong ability to connect with and engage teens.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding in dealing with diverse personalities and backgrounds.
Organizational Skills:
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Flexibility and Travel:
- Willingness to travel to different locations within Central Florida.
- Reliable transportation is required.
Team Collaboration:
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and take direction from lead facilitators.
- Open to feedback and willing to contribute to team discussions and planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with teens in educational, recreational, or youth programs leadership settings.
- Background in youth education or a related field.
- Experience in curriculum development or instructional design.

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
