Job description
This is not a commission-based role. Reporting directly to the Insides Sales Manager, the Sales Assistant provides on-going support to the sales team. This includes sending Vendor Agreements, generating and proposals as well as placing orders for products and services. It also includes updating tracking details & estimated arrivals for all orders as well as other administrative tasks such as coordinating meetings with clients & vendors, office communications & preparation of sales materials.
- Provide direct support to Inside Sales Manager, VP, and President
- Generate and send out proposals for products & services in a timely manner including for items like renewals, etc.
- Answering incoming calls and emails. Follow up with Clients on Proposal Status, Customer Service
- Update CRM System (ConnectWise) Service Tickets and Configurations & QuickBooks Estimates.
- Placing orders for products and services approved by clients - Procurement
- Internal Inventory Management – Procurement
- Ensuring all information is documented in ConnectWise such as Order Numbers, POs and ETA for deliveries.
- Update team on service delivery timeframes, tracking details
- Assist in assigning bench team to prep orders as they arrive
- Assist with planning sales related functions such as Lunch and Learns
- Assist in Handling Product Returns and Requests for Refunds to Vendors
- Utilize all web-portals for our Internal, Client and VoIP Services.
Requirements:
- Must live within 30 miles or less of Parsippany NJ
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation.
- Must be available to work In Office Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Customer Service Experience.
- Procurement/Order Placement Experience.
- QuickBooks Experience preferred, but not required.
- Ticketing System Experience preferred, but not required.
- Scheduling Experience preferred, but not required.
