ROLE: Industrial Electrician
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisory Staff, Maintenance Electrician Technicians perform all tasks necessary to test, calibrate, repair, overhaul, maintain, construct, modify or install electrical equipment components and machinery including; laying out, setting up or assembling work for themselves or others. Maintenance Electrician Technicians make verbal, written and electronic reports of work activity, performing related work as required
Working schedule:There are 2 possible schedule options: Shift or Day Time Only (DTO)
Shift: 12hr rotating; 4on, 4off. MUST be able to work both day and night shift, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.
The first position that must be filled is the 12hr rotating shift. As the DTO position fill, the least senior technician will move to the rotation shift schedule if the shift technician bids on the DTO position.
Overtime may be required.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years proven manufacturing/industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Technical qualification certificate in the mechanical field.
- Capability to perform inspections of electrical systems for damage, defects or malfunctions and diagnosing the proper corrective action necessary to return equipment to basic operating conditions (troubleshooting).
- Ability to diagnose failures with power generation and transmission systems, fluid power systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems including compressor operation, material handling systems, etc.
- Experience with relay based control systems troubleshooting and repairs
- Capability to perform inspections of electrical systems for damage, defects or malfunctions and diagnosing the proper corrective action necessary to return equipment to basic operating conditions (troubleshooting).
- Ability to read, understand and work from all types of drawings; prints, system diagrams, specifications, schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Competence with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven understanding of safety in the workplace.
