Role Description
This is an ON-CALL position that requires reliable transportation. The ideal candidate lives close out our properties in Fort Lauderdale
We are looking for a Vacation Rental Assistant/Runner to support our Operations who displays excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking abilities to support our property management team. This person must have an eye for detail, and a collaborative mindset. The position entails handling basic maintenance tasks for our properties, stocking supplies, aiding with operational duties, and delivering exceptional guest service by promptly addressing their requirements and identifying critical property issues.
Responsibilities
- Embrace the unexpected, as each day brings new challenges. Your daily tasks will include driving to our properties and performing any needed duties, requiring adaptability and flexibility. ( ON CALL)
- Maintain organized, monitored, and well-stocked supplies and inventory.
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and provide assistance to team members as needed.
- Utilize basic maintenance skills such as hanging pictures, fixing blinds, and changing light bulbs.
- Enhance your skills by undertaking home repair tasks like troubleshooting appliances, resolving cable/wifi issues, acquiring basic HVAC knowledge, and handling minor plumbing jobs such as fixing a leaky sink.
- Perform errands like taking out trash, running keys, etc.
- Coordinate with Operations manager to streamline processes.
- Perform Quality Checks of home before and after Guest arrivals.

Skills
- Communication: Proactively communicate with our guests, owners, housekeeping team, maintenance team, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Problem Solving: Apply critical thinking to anticipate potential guest concerns. Be prepared to swiftly address urgent situations and transform challenges into opportunities.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Suite, and ability to learn and use organizational cell-phone apps. Ability to check email on a daily basis.
- Organized: Ability to prioritize and organize your time on a day-to-day, hour-to-hour basis.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends. Ability to step in to help where needed.
- Responsible: Ability to work in an autonomous and on-call work structure. You must be reliable to your teammates, and honest about your work hours.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $19.40 - $30.00 per hour
