The Instructional Designer develops, creates, and implements training curriculums and development of training materials
- Develops training materials utilizing a variety of resources
- Evaluates and maintains training materials
- Meets with subject matter experts in creation of training
- Updates training programs to ensure that they are current
- Oversees the creation of content for online learning modules and educational materials for employees
- Maintains an understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
- Conducts field visits to observe best practices and gather content
- Meets with manager to determine resources for training
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Lincare operational experience in a respiratory center
- Experience a plus in creating training materials and content
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods
(mentoring, coaching, on-the-job training, e-learning etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to plan, multitask, and manage time effectively
- Strong writing and record keeping ability
- Strong computer and database skills
- Ability to travel 30%-50% is required
- Relocation is not required
