Come and join our thriving and growing Edge One Team! We are seeking a full time Accounting Assistant/Clerk position that will work hybrid (2-3 days in the Stoughton, WI office.) This position is responsible for the daily administrative duties for the accounting department. This position will assist the CFO/President of Edge One with reporting and clerical duties for the accounting department.
Primary Responsibility's:
1. Establish procedures to ensure internal controls are in place and followed.
2. Provide continual backup, training, and support to accounting staff.
3. Partner with CFO/President to make sure all departmental documentation is accurate and up to date with compliance and regulation.
4. Ensure timely recording and reconciling of daily ATM and banking activity.
5. Ensure timely preparation of weekly/monthly invoicing.
6. Accounts Receivable- reconcile cash disbursement and manage account receivable collections.
7. Accounts Payable – Properly code invoices and ensure payments are charge appropriately.
8. Assist with Edge One hardware inventory and tracking
9. Assist with preparation of annual budgets for each division.
10. Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications
1. 1-2 Years of accounting/finance experience. (College Grads with Internship Experience are encouraged to apply!)
2. Experience with accounting software preferred.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential data.
4. Bachelors or associates degree required.
