Bergerson-Caswell is seeking a project manager and sales engineer to work in and eventually lead our commercial wells and pumps department. We are seeking a candidate with strong knowledge of mechanical and pumping systems, that has managerial and project management level experience, and is willing to work as a team to complete and maintain our high standard of reliable work for our customers. This position will require outside sales as well as system start-up and field troubleshooting operations. - Understanding the program and its operation, duties, and performance
- Responsible for safety procedures on-site
- Examine systems and analyze information to determine needed installations, services or repairs
- Plan, organize and direct activities concerned with the maintenance and repair of systems/facilities
- Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity or equipment and skill of personnel
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff and clients
- Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
- Sales of used shop material
- Compute estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials, labor and outside contactors
- Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures
- Confer with personnel, management, customers, to coordinate work activities, resolve employee grievances, and identify and review resource needs
- Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.
- Meet with vendors and supplies to discuss products used in repair work
- Attend trade shows and seminars to promote business or to learn about industry developments
- Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments
- Research and identify potential customers for services

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
