Sisu Healthcare Solutions is a privately held infusion therapy company that is dedicated to providing excellent clinical service to our patients, physicians and managed care customers. We provide comprehensive infusion therapy services that include the provision of nutritional, antibiotics, and specialty drugs administered intravenously, including all medically appropriate and necessary supplies. We provide these services and products to patients in the home setting or in our outpatient ambulatory infusion suites.
Our clinical team of nurses and pharmacists work closely with physicians to develop a plan of care based upon the patient’s therapy. Our specially trained nurses assess the home setting, administer the medication and teach caregivers in the home. From pharmacokinetic monitoring to reviewing medication profiles our pharmacists are working closely with patients as well as their physician.
Job Description
Patient Advocate Liaison is responsible for managing new referrals from various referral sources. Ensuring proper benefit verification, prior authorization, documentation, and effective communication internally and externally. Our purpose is to always advocate for our patients by providing an excellent experience from intake to infusion.
Responsibilities:
· Communicating with Hospital Case Manager’s via Allscripts, Navi Health, telephone, or email
· Performing verification of insurance Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and other lines of business
· Data entry of new patient accounts
· Managing prior authorization submission process through PBM’s and Medical plan’s
· Coordination of new patient care with sales, pharmacy, and nursing team
· Experience with manufacturer copay assistance programs and grant programs
· Collect and communicate effectively financial responsibility with patient’s and caregivers.
Requirements:
· Minimum two years’ experience in home infusion therapy
· Minimum of two years’ experience in prior authorization of infusible drugs
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multitask
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to adapt to frequent change
· Willingness to learn new functions

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
