St. Luke Lutheran Community is currently hiring a part-time Front Desk Receptionist for our North Canton Campus.
SCHEDULE:
- 4 evenings/week (set 2 week rotating schedule)
- 3:30PM-7:30PM Shift
- Every other weekend/Every other holiday *required
- Ability to cover other days/shifts on occasion as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, applicants, etc. as they arrive at the front desk
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual / operation paging system
- Provide general administrative and clerical support: typing, filing, copying, emailing, folding, stuffing/sealing envelopes, applying postage, faxing, preparing medical charts/welcome packets/etc
- Ensure Administrative forms/files are replenished as needed
- Manage calendars for meeting rooms
- Submit supply orders to Supervisor when necessary
- Submit IT, Maintenance, and Housekeeping support requests as needed
- Log incoming and outgoing packages/register all gifts for residents
- Receive, sort, distribute, and process mail
- Update and maintain resident demographic information and listings
- Ensure the Front Desk/Reception Areas are clean and presentable at all times
- Records and issue refunds for vending machines/place repair calls as needed
- Print and distribute facility flyers, newsletters, etc
- Complete all necessary training and/or in-service requirements
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficient in using office equipment such as printer/scanner/copier
- Proficient in basic to intermediate computer usage/typing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office/365 (Word/Excel/Access/Powerpoint)
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant so
- Must be willing to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Must possess a friendly demeaner with patience and the ability the work with residents, families, visitors, personnel, government agencies, and the general public
- Must be able to push, pull, live, and move a minimum of 25 pounds
