Tampa -> Melbourne -> Fort Lauderdale -> Miami -> Naples -> Fort Myers -> Sarasota
Overview: HIDE Skimmer Covers, a leading manufacturer of innovative stainless-steel products for the swimming pool construction and landscaping industries, is enjoying rapid growth and seeking an experienced salesperson to service our current customers and develop new opportunities within the region.
Purpose of the Position:
· Develop, maintain, and nurture business by creating & maintaining relationships and providing technical support to Landscapers, Pool Builders, Architects and Wholesale Distribution throughout the state of Florida.
· Providing exceptional customer service and technical support relating to products, installations, pricing, service, and technical information.
· The role will involve considerable amount of travel throughout South Florida for regular face to face meetings with our customers. Some interstate travel will be required for seasonal trade show activity.
· Researching and developing new relationships with potential customers to see positive sales growth in the serviced region.
· Working closely with the Head of USA division, East Coast Regional Sales Manager & the Skimmer Cover/Lids team to ensure KPIs are being met.
Job Responsibilities:
· Account Management:
- Develop and grow the current distribution network and identifying new channels of supply opportunity throughout the state of Florida.
- Traveling throughout Florida to manage, train and develop existing client relationships and grow new customer base.
- Resourcing, developing, and recording a customer data base for marketing and product awareness (HubSpot based).
- Developing regular call plans for both targeted and existing customers; updating CRM on activities and key client information in a timely manner and utilizing the CRM as a pipeline management and job tracking tool.
- Building and maintaining excellent client relationships at multiple levels and disciplines by providing exceptional customer service and technical support relating to products, installations, pricing, and technical information.
· Service:
- Providing technical assistance and advice to Landscapers, Pool installers and other customers.
- Ensuring efficient and timely customer service, as well as reporting.
- Providing primary customer service to inbound enquiries from sales channels generated from the state of Florida.
- Understand the products and be prepared and willing to help resolve any technical issues and answer any questions as required.
- Undertaking a hands-on role as required by onsite assistance at installation of products.
- Solving complex problems and developing practical solutions by providing technical on-site support and assistance.
· Trade shows:
- Co-ordination (and attendance) of trade show activity within the state of Florida.
- Liaise with the Head of USA Division & East Coast Regional Sales Manager to schedule a trade show activity calendar.
- Represent HIDE in the highest stead.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 2 years of field sales experience with proven success - experience in the swimming pool construction or landscape/hardscape industries is highly desirable
- Quality written & verbal business communication skills
- CRM Experience - (HubSpot - preferential)
- Self-motivated, proactive and confident
- Able to construct and adhere to a productive, efficient & regimented travel schedule
- Willing to travel 2-3 weeks each month
- Good business acumen

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
