Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and produce product according to specifications
- Operate sewing and skiving machines and other equipment used in upholstery
- Follow patterns and instructions from spec sheets or lead
- The ability to work with upholstery glue, leather, vinyl, and wood.
- Be able to rivet and screw plated binding post with care
- Cutting with a X-ACTO knife for precision cutting
- Assemble furniture/ end product
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Upholster or similar role
- 3 - 5 years experience
- Proficiency in operating sewing and skiving machines and other equipment
- Knowledge of upholstery construction techniques and materials: leather, vinyl, nylon, polyester, etc..
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately a must
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to use single needle; Optional, skiving machines:
- JUKI: LU-1510N-7,DNU-241
- (OPTIONAL) TECH SEW: SK-4
