Office Assistant Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing calendars, assisting with customer inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
Duties:
- Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- Provide customer support via phone and email
- Maintain computerized records and databases
- Assist with organizing and coordinating office events or meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with basic IT troubleshooting for office equipment
Skills:
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a relevant role
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of phone systems and experience in customer service
- Familiarity with medical or dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
