Successful candidates will demonstrate an understanding and passion for engaging with children/individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Successful candidates have experience teaching developmentally appropriate skills and social interactions while implementing behavior reduction protocols. Learn and master Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to provide quality and consistent therapeutic services to children.
In this hourly, non-exempt, part-time position, you will be an integral part of the therapy team, working directly with children and families.
As a Yellow Bus Center Lead RBT, your responsibilities will include:
Administrative Responsibilities
- Oversee and support all administrative duties in the center and ensure that center is operating smoothly
- Oversee Lead Center RBT
- Maintain schedules and room assignments for center utilization. This includes updating client schedules, creating client profiles, keeping track of client materials, assistance in the creation of client materials, maintaining appearance of treatment rooms)
- Ensure the center and treatment rooms are ready for clients upon their arrival
- Assist in facilitating and scheduling maintenance of the center (broken items, missing items, plumbing issues)
- Facilitate communication between clinical supervisor and BT/RBT as needed.
- v Coordinate BT/RBT coverage and monitor BT/RBT schedules, time off requests, cancellations, and update client schedules on YBA electronic platforms (MeasurePM, Monday.com, etc).
- Assist with scheduling of shadowing sessions, assessments, and interviewing potential center BT/RBTs
- Greet families at arrival/dismissal and notify BT/RBT
- Monitor building access for BT/RBT utilizing center
- Ensure BT/RBT clean and sanitize utilized areas
- Manage center budget when maintaining inventory of materials (paper products, cleaning supplies, art supplies, games, activities, toys, etc).
- Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
- Reinforce center policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately
- Collaborate with the back-office operations team and attend scheduled meetings to review policy changes and/or concerns.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Maintain RBT credential in accordance with the BACB and attend Professional Development Trainings (as required).
- Assist in the management of clients while ensuring a safe and supportive environment under the direction and supervision of the clinical supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with clinical supervisors and associate trainers to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy to BT/RBT.
- Develop and lead structured daily activities such as circle time, structured play, appropriate peer group activities, and movement breaks.
- Conduct wellness rounds for each client regularly to ensure BT/RBT are supported.
- Assist clinical supervisors with a variety of tasks as needed.
- Cover mandatory breaks or short breaks for BT/RBT as needed, including working 1:1 with clients and implementing treatment plan goals.
- Provide BT/RBT coverage as needed for call outs or short staffing.
- Attend weekly meetings with Clinical Director/Regional Center Manager to receive feedback, address questions, review concerns and responsibilities.

Hourly rate: $28.00 to $30.00
