Responsibilities of the Labor Delivery Registered Nurse will include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients in the Labor & Delivery department. Additionally, the Labor Delivery Nurse will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans.
Ideally, the Labor and Delivery nurse will hold their registered nurses license, and have at least 2 years of direct patient care experience working in a Labor Delivery or Mother Baby department.
