PROPERTY MANAGER
- Manage residential properties in the Bronx, including tenant relations, rent collections, work order management, legal actions, etc.
- Improve quality and cleanliness of buildings while adhering to strict guidelines regarding Local Law work and apartment construction.
- Supervise staff members.
- Work closely with the leasing department and brokers to rent apartments in this new climate.
- Facilitate all lease signings with tenants and brokers.
- Oversee all move in/outs and lease signings and lease renewals.
- Hand out rent statements monthly and deliver payroll weekly.
- Follow up with tenants who are past due on rent to maintain low monthly arrears balance.
- Level bids and manage all major construction projects.
- Create purchase orders and work orders to be processed for approval and payment.
- Work with compliance department to clear any and all open violations, including building wide inspections.
- May have to provide testimony, evidence, and coordinate legal stipulations in Landlord/Tenant court.
Requirements:
3+ year as Property Manager, preferably with residential Section 8 properties
BS degree a plus
Bilingual Spanish a plus
Valid driver’s license and car REQUIRED
Willing to travel to various properties in the Bronx and report to office in Great Neck a few days/week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
