Seeking knowledgeable, energetic candidates for Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle and High School Special Education Teaching Positions across the District of Columbia.

Job responsibilities include:
- Individualizing and implementing an appropriate educational program for all students aligned with DCPS standards and student needs
- Writing assessment-driven IEPs and collecting daily data on student performance and behavior
- Implementing evidence-based assessment and teaching procedures for skill acquisition and behavior intervention based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Managing and training teaching assistants
- Collaborating with support staff (BCBAs, Related Service Providers, etc.) to develop programs and monitor progress across domains
- Coordinating inclusion efforts with general education teachers
- Regular correspondence and collaboration with parents
We are seeking individuals who are highly proficient at planning for and instructing students with special needs and are enthusiastic about teaching beyond the academic curriculum; successfully teaching communication, social and life skills in a systematic manner.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree
- Special Education License
Preferred Characteristics:
- Experience teaching students in the Special Education Setting
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,000.00 - $132,000.00 per year
