Purpose of the Position
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the company including: licensure, accreditation, funding source compliance, implementation of policy and procedures, training, mentoring, and documentation for legal purposes at the local, state, and federal levels.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of PeachTree
- Ensures compliance with the Personal Care Home regulations and applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulations.
- Effective marketing and communication; marketing, referrals, evaluations, admission and follow through with the Clinical Team
- Maintains program integrity and positive public relations
- Assists in the development of budgets, monitors expenditures and implements changes to manage resources within the budget guidelines.
- Management and supervision of all staff, responsible for the health and safety of staff.
- Evaluates the performance of personnel and approves hiring, promotions, and terminations.
- Counsels subordinates, resolves grievances and maintains effective disciplinary procedures.
- Communicate hiring needs across all departments.
- Ensure that Day Hab program is in compliance and encourage resident’s participation.
- Ensure that the highest level of professional services is delivered to the residents.
- Follow all policies and procedures and work with the Executive Team to update as needed
- Produce all necessary reports in a timely manner
- Develops and implements staff training schedule, staff training, and coordinates with trainers both in –house and in the community. Encourages professional growth with an emphasis on mentoring and promotion from within the organization.
- Coordinates with all departments and managers, communicates with direct care staff to assure consistency within the organization
- Ensures the highest level of professional service is delivered to the residents
- Follows all company policies and procedures
- Attends all Continuing Education Courses required to maintain current Delaware licensure and certifications
- Advocates for people with disabilities
- Maintains good rapport with physicians, families, case managers, physical and occupational therapists, and other professionals
- Assists to ensure that the rights of all residents are being met.
- Communicate effectively with the Executive Team to ensure optimal operations of all departments.
- Coordinate response to various auditing entities and coordinates all regulatory audits.
- Leads a team by professional example and conduct oneself as a company leader.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Implement new software to increase efficiency amongst organizations.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
