MaxCare is currently seeking a hardworking and motivated Water Mitigation Manager.
The Water Mitigation Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the Water Mitigation Department for restoration projects. The water mitigation manager will direct and coordinate every aspect of a water loss project— from the moment the job is received to when the file is billed out and closed.
The manager has constant interaction with mitigation technicians, adjusters, and customers. Prior management experience is a must.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and a problem solver. Great communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a steady completion of workload in a timely manner are the keys to success.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing all aspects of water damage mitigation projects, including initial assessments, mitigation, mold remediation, and final inspections.
- Ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with industry standards, carrier guidelines, and regulations.
- Oversee all jobs and keep within desired gross profit margins.
- Perform inspections and execute contracts as needed.
- Lead, hire, manage, and train a team of water mitigation technicians to ensure that all services are performed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
- Identify unique conditions ahead of the crew, manage all workflow situations, dispatch on call technicians.
- Build and maintain an on-call schedule.
- Communicating regularly with property owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed about project status and progress.

- Ensure all services that are performed pass quality and cleanliness standards and oversee certificate of completion.
- Directly manage all commercial and large loss job.
- Manage inventory of equipment, vehicles, and PPE.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years restoration experience in areas of water, and mold damage (required)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a management level role
- IICRC restoration-related certifications (preferred)
· Proficiency in project management software and tools. (specifically, Dash, MICA, XactAnalysis, Contractor Connection, and Alacrity - not required, but preferred)
- Experience with: Xactimate (required)
Physical Demands
- Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force routinely, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ascends/descends ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
Salary: $65,000-$90,000
