Job Brief: We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide financial, and clerical services. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. Your responsibilities will include processing and monitoring incoming payments, reconciling accounts receivable balances, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts. This position also includes tasks associated with billing and posting medical insurance claims
Responsibilities:

Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data.

Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.

Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.

Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.

Prepare and post medical insurance claims under the direction of the Billing Supervisor.

Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
Requirements and Skills:

Prior experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk experience is preferred, but not required as training will be provided.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

Experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (such as Sage Intacct or other full-scale ER software).

Proficiency in English and MS Office.

Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or commensurate education and job experience.
