Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to lead our team in managing multiple properties within a designated region. As a Regional Manager, you will oversee the operational and financial performance of our properties, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. This role involves travel within the region.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of properties, including overseeing property managers, leasing agents, maintenance staff, and administrative personnel.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income across all properties.
- Ensure compliance with lease agreements, fair housing regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs, curb appeal, and overall property condition.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to develop annual budgets, financial reports, and property performance metrics.
- Provide guidance and support to property managers in resolving tenant issues, lease negotiations, and rent collection.
- Implement customer relationship management strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Utilize software for maintenance tracking and scheduling.
- Oversee contract negotiations with vendors and service providers for cost-effective solutions.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Regional Manager or similar role in property management.
- Strong knowledge of office operations, property leasing processes, Section 8 housing programs, and sales techniques.
- Familiarity with OneSite or similar property management software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders effectively.
