Associate Dentist
Duties:
- Perform patient assessments and examinations
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop treatment plans
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns and bridges
- Utilize Opendental software to maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Apply medical terminology and coding systems to document procedures and diagnoses
- Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients to educate them on oral health and treatment options
Skills:
- Proficiency in Opendental software for managing patient records and treatment plans
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems for accurate documentation
- Understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions for effective diagnosis and treatment
- Familiarity with medical records management to ensure accurate documentation of procedures and diagnoses
- Ability to apply aseptic technique and follow infection control protocols for patient safety
- Experience with Epic software is a plus
