We're looking for a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team, who understands that every member of our practice has a unique and valued role, and we can only deliver care to our patients as a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering inbound calls and coordinating communication with patients, physicians and other medical professionals. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, organized, dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and an ability to maintain the confidentiality of all patient information.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check out patients; collect copays, coinsurances, and any additional balances due.
- Schedule appointments, lab tests, and surgeries.
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary in EMR.
- Assist in answering phones and making appointments for new and established patients.
- When testing results come in make sure the patients are scheduled for follow up.
- Scan superbills, consents & waivers in patient charts.
- Assit when able taking patients to rooms and cleaning rooms.
- Communicate changes in patient's condition with other medical staff.
- Take basic HPI or H&P (for new patients) and prep patient appropriately for Dr. Dunne.
- Take X-rays as required.
- Answer questions and educate patients on health-related issues.
- Communicate room order to Dr. Dunne
- Prep surgical trays for procedures.
- Complete visit paperwork, lab request, consent/waiver forms, and Orthotic order forms.
- Enter visit into the computer, updating medication and allergy list at each visit.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, which include, but are not limited to: standing, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, transporting supplies or equipment, and occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying items.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
