Position Title: Manufacturing Facility Trainer
Position Type: Non - Exempt
Location (Facility): UCF Manufacturing
Reports to (Position Title): HR/Training Supervisor
Responsibilities:

Evaluate employees and identify weaknesses in production skills.

Identify and conduct training needs according to individual skill levels.

Work alongside with shop employees to develop new skills in the manufacturing process (including coating).

Present the technical data and supply training requirements to employees.

Encourage employees for training and identify potential candidates for progression.

Track employee success and progress
- Assist in communication of all the training programs on a timely basis

Prepare and deliver manufacturing training sessions and measure effectiveness of training program based on success rate.

Teach employees welding skills in carbon and stainless plate, pipe welding using GMAW-S, GMAW-P, FCAW, SAW and GTAW.

Train and help develop employees on operation of specific machinery.

Assist other department heads in training needs

Assist with FEM/5S program as needed.

Robotic welding experience with programing preferred
Qualifications (education, experience, skills, personal attributes):
-
High School Diploma
-
Bilingual is highly preferred
-
Experience in a manufacturing/steel fabrication environment required.
-
Computer literacy of Microsoft Windows software such as Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Working knowledge of arc welding processes for carbon, stainless and alloy metals preferred.

Familiarity with liquid and powder type coatings preferred.

Familiarity with ASTM specifications, AWWA standards and AWS/ASME welding codes desired.

Good understanding of shop math (fraction to decimal) and ability to read tape measure, and measuring tools (caliper, micrometers) preferred.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints desired.
- Good written and oral communication skills required.

Good problem solving capabilities desired.

Must be able to work independently, efficiently and be self-motivated and detail oriented.

Preferred knowledge of Cobot robotic welding.
