Job Title: Training Specialist
Location: Arlington/Alexandria, VA
Schedule: Full-time, In-person
Pay Rate: $70-75K annually
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage training programs for employees at various levels.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars in-person.
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and feedback from employees and managers.
- Design and create training materials, manuals, and other resources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with department heads and HR to ensure training programs align with company goals and objectives.
- Maintain records of training activities and participant progress.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in employee training and development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in training and development or a similar role.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with learning management systems (LMS).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in developing and implementing training programs.
- Ability to travel between Arlington and Alexandria as needed.
